Thank you for being here. I'm grateful to have a moment. I'm Sander Vill, a wedding and couple photographer living in Finland and traveling around the globe.
I'm a full time professional photographer capturing pure emotions for life. I have had the honor to photograph weddings since 2016 and over one hundred and fifty of them, which is crazy to be honest.
But there is a cache. I started as a photography entrepreneur when I was 15-years-old and I basically have worked since then with the full power. Because of that I haven't had the change to spend time exploring the world or living my "wild" years as young human. In 2022 I had a surgery and while getting myself together I understood what I want to do.
I want to travel the world, see the beautiful places, meet the new amazing people and capture the most important moments. I hope I can be part of your journey.

The experience you will have after being captured means everything to me. For me it's really important you will recognize yourself from the photos. I want you see every detail of personality you have in the gallery.
I don't want just to memorize you as being happy. I want to capture you with all of your emotions. Being happy, trusty, feeling confident and sexy. I want you to be truly free and yourself. It's the beauty of sentimental, genuine and emotional photography.
How does it feels being captured
For most of the people the idea of being in the front of camera might feel exciting. Almost every couple mentions in the meeting that they maybe don't feel home in front of the camera. And I totally understand it.
In every session I will guide you through for the full time. In the beginning I have a small tasks for you to do, basically to break the ice. After that I will give you instructions, ideas and tell how to be.
I also tell you what kind of mindset we are looking for. It means you can truly just be and enjoy the amazing moment we have.

The year 2024 started with beautiful news. I got nominated as The Best Young Wedding Photographer by Way Up North and I won the Finnish competition the Wedding Photo of The Year 2024 3rd place award.

Get to know the process and get in touch
The first step is to get in touch and send me a message. I will tell you about the availability, packages and other information that is good to know. Sending me a message and asking for availability and packages doesn't obviously commit you to anything. Get in touch and let's start from there!
After hearing about your wedding I will suggest you a package. You can naturally pick a package by yourself, but I'm more than ready to help you to find the perfect coverage for your day. Documentary wedding photography packages are in between 8-12 hours and sometimes they are even up to 14 hours. The typical amount of clients investing into my documentary wedding photography is usually around 2400 - 3500.00 euros.
Not always the longest package is the best, so I'm happy to find you a good option. For a non-season there is also an option for 6 hour package. Send me a message and I will let you know about everything!
When we know our date and package we are ready to officially book the date! It's very exciting moment to truly make it real. We will sign a contract and I will send the invoice for the reservation fee. After signing the contract and finalizing the reservation fee the booking is official. If you have any questions about the reservation, cancellation or re-booking policies please let me know. You can also find a FAQ section in the end of this page!
Now is the time to get very excited! Let's plan the day. I love to have the official wedding photography meeting only in around 1-3 weeks before the wedding to be able to truly go through every detail of the day. Then we go through everything, find a spot for wedding portraits and I give you an information that helps you to organize the group photos and other photography parts of the day. Besides having the official meeting really close to a wedding we will be in touch earlier.
Usually it's good to know some parts of the schedule earlier so we either send messages or we can have a second short meeting about 3-6 months before the wedding to go through the larger plans such as the schedule, possible travel information and other details that are important for wedding photography! I'm available for the full time and always ready to help or give you my ideas!
It's the wedding day! I will document one of your most important days of your life. I'm honored to be part of those moments. In portraits and group photos I will guide you and give you the instructions. During the morning, ceremony and reception I will document everything from the side. I'm trying to be as one of the quests and be as close to your emotions as possible. When we come to a point where photographing coverage is coming to an end I will let you know and thank you for the day.
If you would like to expand the package or for example the schedule is running a little bit late you can always add extra hours even on the evening of a wedding day. I will not leave before your most meaningful moments are being captured.
As soon as the next day I will send you a Sneak Peek -gallery to see and use the very first photos of your beautiful day. You can share them with friends, family and guests or you can already update your Instagram with a new post! In 4-6 weeks after the wedding you will receive the full large wedding gallery that is collecting the full day of emotions of your wedding.
The gallery is available for 6 months and you can share it with your close ones! The invoice will be delivered after the wedding. Now you have an image gallery you can go back forever to re-live one of the most meaningful days of your life.

Where do you shoot?

How much is the reservation fee?
On the destination wedding photography the reservation fee is 10% of the whole package. On the couple, engagement, wedding portraits or proposal photography there is no reservation fee (unless mentioned in the offer). For the elopement there is a reservation fee for 200.00 euros.
When is a good time to get in touch?
Always as soon as possible! Especially the most wanted dates can be booked for a long time before. Even though it's good to be in touch early stage don't be scared to send a message in last minute. There is nothing better than getting a new shoot in a short period of time.
I don't have previous experience being in front of the camera, does it matter?
Of course it doesn't matter if you have experience or not. Most of my clients have never been in a front of the camera. While shooting I will give all the introductions and advice. I also have little funny tasks for two of you.
How much time should I reserve for a wedding portraits on a wedding day?
Of course we go with the time that you have but usually about 60-90 minutes is good time for portraits. I have done portraits in 10 minutes and also we have reserved 3 hours for portraits. It all depends on the wishes and possibilities.
What are cancellation and reservation policies for wedding and elopement shoots?
The reservation fee for a wedding shoot is 10% of the full package and for elopement 200.00 euros and the fee will be reduced from the whole invoice. The reservation fee is non-refundable. In case of cancellation or rebooking the reservation fee will be lost but there is no cancellation fee.
